(((It's Alive, It's Alive)))

Well,
I repaired my 48" AL-III Ribbon yesterday and so far the results are good.
I tested it hooked up through the passive crossover with all an M-500t could throw at it and it works. Now for those woofer cabinets !
Can't wait to get back to a bi-amped configuration again.

I forgot to take pictures Mx. ](*,)
I played them all day yesterday and they both sound the same again.
Very happy with the results.
I'll be taking them back apart in a few months to redo the bass cabinets.

How do you have it hooked up now? I thought you were still bi-amping.

Congrat's on the successful repair. =D>

The best way to enjoy digital music reproduction is to never listen to a good analogue reproduction.

I'm hooked back up through the Rane AC-22 with two M-500t's. One for the Ribbons and one for the Woofers. The imaging is perfecto again. \:D/
The third 500 is running the Paradigms on the top shelf through a Niles Speaker Volume Control so I can tame them down to match the AL-III out put.

I apologize in advance for the derail Rick, but I am curious as to what this is. How do you hook it up? Any noticeable loss in sound quality? Hi power low impedance usage not line level? If you don't feel like typing, don't respond and let this thread go as it will and I'll give you a call sometime this week.

It hooks in between the amp and the speakers. The 500 is still out putting I'm just turning it's output down via volume control in the speaker leads.
