My advice: Jump on them!
I have an identical set & they are GREAT.
I had to rent a van & drive 350 miles each way to get them.
I've never regretted that.

Rob a 7-11, assuming you have no criminal record you will probably get probation.
A good deal.

Re: Nice set on E-bay
Be careful with this set. One ribbon is not firing. Could be something simple ,but just keep it in mind. The seller stated that the ribbon does not look damaged. The auction is over $400 already. He also has these on the Cleveland CL for $1200. So he doesn't know too much about these.

Re: Nice set on E-bay
What minimum and maximum bid prices would you guys recommend on this set of Amazing Silvers?
I think they would be a steal at $650 since they probably work fine, but the owner doesn't know it. I am not so confident on what the max price should be. A 2-hour drive from Columbus would be a walk in the park to get these in my truck.

Re: Nice set on E-bay
Include the price of a ribbon rebuild in your estimate of max bid, just in case.

Re: Nice set on E-bay
How does a max bid of $1000 sound so I can hold onto the $400 that would be needed to repair the ribbon. Is that too much or too little for the quality of this set?
