Why not a 400 x 5 and have one for your center, too.
It should sound like it isn't there!

Right now just a TFM 35 , and to my surprise they sounded great , but well under powered . I will be in the market for 2 Sunfire 300x2 , one for the ALS , the other for the AL-III,s

I'd look for a 600X2 or one of the 5400/7400 Sunfires. I don't think you'll be happy with the 300X2. My version of this speaker dips near/below 1 ohm...not good for most amps, 'specially if you like to ROCK!!!

Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.

Yes ,it is is a center...It sounds really nice.....I had to sit the Plasma on top.....its 4 feet wide , 62 LBS......I have a Parasound HCA bridged to mono......It does have a different sound then my Paradigm Studio Reference CC .......The CC has a deeper sound , while the 390 has a crisper sound . The plan is to buy another CC and incorporate the 7 axis from the TGP II.....I keep telling my better half that we need a bigger house now .....Yikes... :-s

I keep telling my wife we need to have a house BUILT, so I can have it all wired the way I want it. And of course at least one room with some exacting measurements.
