NAME THIS AMP

We are going to need a name for these bad boys that us talented experts will be assembling at CF under the expert hand of "The Bob Father".

- Carver 15t

- Carverfest Tube Amp

- Moonglow 15x2

Later on this evening if I get a chance to have a cold one, that might kick in the creative juices --- \:D/

Any suggestions --

Re: NAME THIS AMP

I have what I think is a good name.. Or at least the a good concept for a name.
Once I get a drawing of the chassis, I could even laser engrave a number or small plaques / serial number labels for the back.

My suggestion is something like this...

We use the name "Bob Carver" as the brand name, as that will be his new co. name.
Once I find out how many output tubes it will have, we go with,
The Bob Carver, Silver-#k Vacuum Tube Amplifier.

We'll fill in the # with the appropriate number of output tube pairs, and the "k" stands for kit.

and instead of saying MADE IN THE USA, on the back it should say
MADE AT CARVERFEST
BRYSON CITY, NC
SN-CF09162011-001

Krazy Bob's Kickass Kamp Amp

James, I don't think the "Silver" part applies as that was for the silver wiring on the original silvers, right?

I will be happy to meet Bob.
I have read all his stuff I can find on the web.
I see his videos here.

There seems to be no doubt as to his audio genius, but he also seems to be a great salesman.
I am not sure which he does best as he is very good at both.

You mean to tell me that the Carver corporation had some marketing bullshit? Say it ain't so, James....

I LOVE the "Made at Carverfest" idea. Nice touch! =D> We could always call them Bryson amps or Watershed amps or something like that....maybe "this hill is too fucking steep" amps... :D

That would work for you Rabbit, but imagine getting respect for one made by OconneOrange -

I got to admit the "Lovingly handcrafted" would sell well in San Fran or Key West, but I would never sell mine.

Makes me wonder, man.....

It seems very clear to me that Gary is in some serious touch with his feminine side today.

No, he has been burned and does not want to divide his stuff again. For a while guys like this have just the plural personality (HER and me)

The fear will eventually level out and soon he will be on the pool table with "You Know Who" --

Double O,

I know, you can make him an amp and sign it for him!

We all could aid in making 1 extra amp and all sign it and present it to him!
