We need volunteers to help Bob Carver!!!

Post by treitz3 » Mon Jul 18, 2011 8:29 pm

Please, if anybody would be so kind as to help Mr. Bob Carver out? Let this thread know. He will be flying in somewhere between the first Sunday and possibly as late as Tuesday. He will have a glut of parts that will need to be divided for the tube amp build....and I do mean a LOT of parts. Resistors, Xnsfrmrs, pots, plugs, IEC's, fuses, chassis, tubes....you name it. He'll have it and it all needs to be organized before Friday's tube amp build.

We are currently looking for those who will devote their time at Carverfest to helping Bob out with this monumental task. The more, the merrier. Please place your name on this thread if you are willing to give your time so that Bob can actually enjoy "his vacation" as well.

Please note: Any posts that are not on topic will be deleted. All we are looking for is volunteers. If you have any suggestions, we'll be all ears at Carverfest. Thank you ladies and gentlemen.

So far....

Tom I was thinking about this! I was also going to post that anyone has a folding table at home and can bring it with them we could use it for the build and before the build we could use a few to set things up with it! Eddie!

Tom,

We will be getting in late Thursday afternoon or early evening. Any last minute things, we will be glad to lend a hand.

Good idea. I have an 8 footer that I will bring. I have brought it every year but alas, we have not used it. This year, it sounds like she'll be put to good use. Thanks for the suggestion.

Fantastic fellas. I'm sure Bob will be quite happy with the amount of folks willing to make his vacation a little less like work. Thank you.
