This is a picture of my two monoblocks I built at the fest. My question is does the amp on the left look better with the gold tube guards or does the amp on the right look better without?

Can't tell from the picture. Send them to me for an upclose and personal inspection and I will get back with you.

Personally, I like the gold tube guards because of the gold faceplate on the front. Ties the two together and gives it a more upscale and classier look.

Where did you acquire those? Are holes already there in the chassis to mount?

*3*

I give 3 stars because I like the idea of protecting the tubes, but I don't like the bars... A machined aluminum block, similar to the Silver Tube Amp series would look better...

Yes they are cabinet drawer pulls. I aquired them at either Lowes or Home Depot cant remember which. As far as the holes go I will need to drill holes to mount them, now they are just sitting there for the purpose of this poll.

Without. I like sleepers and the sound these offer will let folks know what's under the hood.
In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

The best way to enjoy digital music reproduction is to never listen to a good analogue reproduction.
