I sure wish I it was still going on. I was so great to hang around with all the good people that come.

My family has an annual get together at my brother's place in Ft. Walton Beach, FL, on Labor Day weekend. It puts a kink in my CarverFest plans every year because they expect me there but I want to go to CF....& I can't do both.

PF is next week and only a 1hr away. Toy is 2.5 hrs away. I do enjoy visiting them there.

Gary you gave me an Idea ! A Bob Carver retirment home were all of us can listen to music and have some nice looking nurses to chase around in our wheelchairs! LOL!

Hehe, I was actually thinking of that earlier on today. A little mini-fest, GTG if you will, for the hardcore folks or anybody else who would like to attend. The only thing is that I do not want it to interfere with the main 'fest. Y'all are like family to me and it would be a vacation for folks to come and see "family" on the mountaintop without the worry of breaking down the entire rig and bringing it....unless one feels up to it. I was thinking maybe a rig or two that folks volunteer to bring.

We'll see.

It's convenient to me [relatively, compared to some of y'all] but something like this would be inconvenient to many others. Even if it's just a couple of folks and one rig? There is nothing stopping us from making it happen.
