Turning a Stereo CarverFest 20w Tube Amp into a Mono Block

A lot of people have asked me to make a diagram for mono blocking the CarverFest Kit Amps, so here it is!!

1) Connect the POSITIVE speaker terminals together with a piece of wire (Bob liked the 20ga wire we were issued for this)
2) Get a FEMALE to DOUBLE MALE RCA Y cord, connect red RCA to the end of the Y cord, and then connect the Y cord to the corresponding colors on your RCA inputs.
3) connect your speaker wires to either set of inputs, Bob said it didn't matter which ones you use.

Besides, you should have done all of that INSIDE the amp.
No ghetto rigged look on the outside.

James I like the fact that it is able to be done externally. If one of my friends wants to hear one of my little GEMS I only need to take one for stereo not two. Besides as Bob would say it has 20 tube watts.More than enough for a powerful demonsration of what this puppy is capable of.

How does one get in on that if so inclined?

Thanks Alex. I was doing Mono block until Bob said no need. I too like the idea of being able to have them "swing" both ways with just exterior adjustments.

Thanks Alex. As we also discussed, I like the flexibility to have either or. By the way, the extra RCA outputs, are those for a sub out? If so, did you just jumper over from the other RCA's?
