Fucking piss me off

Toymaker , Why dont you run this idea about inrush current limiters by Bob or Jordan see how they feel about its usage in the primary winding of the power transformer.

Hope you electronic tube-o-philes solve this. The only thing I understand is the change out of the slo-blo fuse. Will have two more amps to pick up this weekend. Sounds like another edit to the build schematic may be forthcoming.

Harry, seems to be that the people that are having problems are the ones that did not install a on/off switch & are plugging & unplugging their amps!!! I installed a switch & have not had any problems so far? just a thought as maybe that is causing this? with a switch installed wouldnt the fused socket have power all the time up to the switch? just my .02

Harry, I dont think george did, but I could be wrong, see what he says! just think the switch is a good idea to do! bob even had a few blow fuses when he was testing them & pulling the plug in & out if Im not mistaken!

nope-- no switch

then thats the first thing I would do!! would prevent that sudden surge through the outlet fuse maybe? worth a try, dont cost much to give it a shot!!
