Bob Carver's "CarverFest" 20w Tube Amplifier

There will now be a SCHEDULED Tube Amplifier build-along Workshop with Bob Carver...
Thats right boys and girls, Bob Carver is going to teach you how to build your very own Tube Amplifier !!!!!

Bob is designing a 15-18 watt per channel tube amplifier "kit" that he will be bringing to CarverFest this year.
Each kit will be well below retail cost for all attendees, and will cost $125 per kit.

This will be a hands on, learning session with Bob.

Everything needed to build these amplifiers will be supplied by Bob, down to the spray paint.
(you are also welcome to bring any custom paint of your choice)

Scheduling and time needed to build these amplifiers will come by the end of the week.
I am making an executive decision, and reserving a single day between Sep. 14th and the 17th, as these are the days that have the most people scheduled for cabin reservations. Actual day and time TBD.

If for any reason you will not be there on those days, I will video tape the entire class, and post it on the website for all to see.

Bob says this amplifier is VERY high quality, and would not be able to be purchased for less than $1,000 retail.

The Order Deadline is June 19th
The kits will only be available to attendees at CarverFest

There will be a small "Tools List" each attendee will have to bring to the class...
BYO:

Soldering iron (Bob will tell you what kind to buy/bring. no HomeDepot 500w POS.
Needle nose pliers
Small screwdrivers
Small sponge and ceramic/glass bowl.
Extension cords.
Power strips (we'll need 5-10 of them)

Other items to follow....

The tubes needed will be:
(x4) 6BQ5 or 7199
(x2) 6AX7

The tubes will be available for $25.00 per amp and are NOT included in the price of the amp. You are free to buy the tubes before Carverfest and Bob recommends vintage tubes but you are free to get whatever you want.

Bob made it sound like he wanted it to be an "event project" like the tube amp give-away was.
I asked if this was going to be an item in the new product line, that could be purchased, the answer was "NO"

that is first rate. i'm in as if there was any other way.
