Carverfest down the tubes for Terri and I

Post by Don » Fri Sep 13, 2013 10:52 am

Unfortunately, Terri and I are not going to make Carverfest. :( Hurt my back lifting luggage on Sunday from recent vacation. Severe sciatica in right leg. Flare up's usually last 4 weeks or so. Bed rest will calm it down eventually. Go through this every year or two.

Bummer. :( We will miss everyone. Have a great time and be safe!

Thanks guys for the comments and words of encouragement. Can't do anything because of severe pain level in right leg, but lay in bed. Therefore, let's see plenty of pictures for those of us that didn't make it.

Wayne, thanks for covering my back on the tee's, coffee and amps. Again, everyone have a great time and be safe. Will miss seeing my Carverfest buds.

Hi Don,

I just recovered from my first sciatica issue (excruciating right leg pain), I was down for over a month. I thought (and hope) it was a one time deal, but looks like you're getting it every few years, what can you do to prevent it? It was the most horrible pain I've felt and I don't want to go though that again, certainly not every couple of years! Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
