Linestage appreciation thread

Post by Zoot Horn » Tue Sep 23, 2014 7:57 pm

I would like to publically thank Mark for all of his hard work and the enormous amount of his personal time spent in designing and engineering this opportunity for us to build this outstanding linestage.he has been a prince of a fellow and has given of his time and expertise freely while sacrificing most of his time at the fest for all of us during this build. Mark,, these words do not justly describe the huge debt of gratitude that I feel,,I can never thank you enough for everything that you have done.

If I can ever do anything for you and your family,,just say the word!

Thank you sir,!!!!!

George

Thanks guys! You all are exactly what the effort is and was for.

We have things to touch up yet, so the journey doesn't end on the close of this CF, nor hopefully the moments that good music can bring.

Hopefully we can share what different brands of tubes can do in the linestage and enjoy this for a long time with the knowledge we can investigate any issues ourselves...And have the help of many folks here on the forum.

Thanks so much for the support, help and confidence to put this project together and help each other work on the assembly. You each deserve a big hand for your efforts and work to get something done which so far outside your comfort zone. That's impressive!

This looked like another very cool project. I can't wait to see all of the different tube rolling options and mods folks come up with.

Looking back, look at what everyone one did with the CF amps.

Well done everyone, especially Mark =D> =D> =D>

Watching Harry and Mark work so hard with so many of them, it looked to be something I would love to attempt during breaks here at work - but alas, I know my limitations and know I would have thrown it across the room before I got midway through.

I can honestly say, I never saw so many be that involved in anything at one time. It was cool.

That comes from someone who never had a "handy" guy around, and wouldn't give a hammer to my kid to even hold.

It was also especially wonderful to see so many females there who didn't give a crap that their guys were so involved. You have to admit - THAT doesn't happen all the time either.

Just proves - an awesome, unique bunch of people all the way around.
