According to GPS I should be getting there right around 1 p.m. Are there any lunch festivities going on today or should I grab some food on the way in?

What a fest it's been for a food! Setting next to Bob at OTD's evening, I heard him even use the words, "world class" regarding the events!

Just unbelievable effort by many on food in the group situations, image the smaller individual meals at the cabins.

I can imagine over on Snob Hill the servers probably have a perfectly folded towel over their arm as they hover around the table fulfilling every wish before you can complete thinking about it.

Ray's to-die-for cake has been sampled (repeatedly) by all I think.

What a great fest it's been and we still have much to go! The food may wind up being one of the major memories of this years event. =D>

Tonight is the night - the Lasagna bakeoff.

Who will rise above the rest this year:

Shortcake,
Harry,
Ray
Or will Carol win it again????

Cabin 10, 6:30 - there is wine and tap water for drinks, or bring your own if you prefer something other than that.

See you there.

Carol, the better half of Bob Carol( Ted and alice). Who I also affectionately call the bitch, won the bakeoff. Have to admit, the best lasagna won again.

Now, can anyone top Harry's omelet??? Had my first and second ever, and my God they were delish.

Maybe Ray can. He was making a huge batch of homemade biscuits and sausage gravy on Monday morning down in cabin 12.
I saw him there as we were heading home. It looked great.

Terri and I wish to thank everyone for hosting some very fine meals and the resultant get togethers of the Carverfest family. We all know it was an awful lot of work for the host and hostess. We missed several because of our limited time at Carverfest. However, of special note of the one's we were able to attend was OTD's Fajita feast, James and Evelyn's Chicken Parm and Al and Melody's Italian Pizza Pie Party. It is also worth mentioning the very delicious Carrot Cake by Ray, along with Carol's Oreo Cookie Ice Cream Cake and Melody's Strawberry Cheese Cake.

Unfortunately, we missed the Lasagna Bake off by a day, as well as Ed/Randi's Seafood fest and Ray's get together. As well as the Snob Hill affair.

Thank you for a great time! =D>
