Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.

I'm renting a Uhaul cargo van ($$ ouch) for the big stats, as they won't fit in my car. And I'm gonna need some help unloading them too. I can't even move one without a hand truck.

I'll need to shoehorn to fit them in cabin 9 but I figure if Harry got the Andromeda's I can get the stats in there (somehow).

I have a bad habit of buying crap that I done even need or really want. Lol

I was in a junk shop a couple months ago and the guy had an Ampzilla sitting there. A big, heavy, hulking, ugly beast of an amp. He said it didn't work, he doesn't know what's wrong with it. I asked him what he wanted for it, he wanted 250 bucks. I wished him the best of luck and went on my way. I was back in there a couple days ago, and he still had it. I asked him if he was ready to let it go for scrap price yet, he laughed and said no, not quite that cheap, but he'd take $100 for it. I picked it up.

Now comes the fun part? Anyone at the fest feel like taking a crack at this beast?

Travis, just set it down in front of Bob...he cannot resist a problem amp. LOL

It will be fun to watch. Please wait until I get there on Monday the 12th.

Well, I WAS going to bring a bunch of audio accessories, DTL, ECS-U, WRF's Kiethley Distortion Analyzer (on loan for CF), etc; but after reading about TSA restrictions and airline warning/disclaimer about putting anything valuable in a checked bag I might have to leave everything home. TSA website says to put vacuum tubes into your checked baggage because they may not be allowed; then what, hope a TSA baggage screener lets it fly? What do people do about traveling with any audio equipment now?

What some people in the past have done is mail the gear to the cabins. It ends up getting delivered next door to WS1. When I say that this maintenance building has become the local post office when we arrive sometimes, I'm not kidding. They always seem to take care of us though and I haven't heard of any horror stories from the shipping companies. Food for thought.

If you call the cabins, they can provide an address to ship it too. I don't think they accept any mail at the individual cabins.

Eric, you will be impressed. I certainly was when I heard them at Charlie's place.
