Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.

Wonder if anybody should consider changing cabins for the purposes of spacing away from others? Just to limit the likelihood of an inadvertent musical note from slipping out a crack in a door or anything?

An "outsider" staying in Cabin #3 wouldn't ever hear a thing I don't think. Now #11, that might be a different story. Not bad but I wouldn't think it impossible.

To the best of my knowledge we've never gotten any reports of anybody that's gotten into hot water due to loudness. Last year I remember walking up the road and hearing pretty easily Eric cranking away up above in the Loft closes to the main road. Would somebody complain of hearing something while out walking? Doubt it but you never know. More to the problem would be somebody wanting to set on their deck and the next cabin over someone having a slider standing open. I've always thought that the distances between places there made it all pretty good as far as noise disturbances, but we want to be able to be a little carried away \:D/ and yet not bother anybody at the same time.

The Treehouses are certainly the most restrictive and after that probably the Lofts (if they were intermingled between attendees and outsiders). But I could see somebody wanting to leave the "city noise" behind and wanting to set out on their deck and not hear a thing but nature maybe not being too understanding (if they're uptight folks).

So give it some thoughts folks and make sure you remember the restrictions are real and we don't want to ever start a bad situation from getting started with "The Management".

rant on/The attitude of Watershed management sucks!!! Other than possibly a treehouse or 2 we've never played it loud enough to bother anyone. We're their largest event by far and they need to do a little bit better to take care of us. We've already lost several long time attendees due to piss poor maintenance of the cabins. This turn it down or we'll call the cops doesn't cut it. Fuck them. Take care of your place better or we're going to have to move CarverFest somewhere else. /rant off
