Made it home O.K. with a little excitement...running low on gas.

The guage said 38 miles left when we were 25 mile from Shelby. No gas stations until Shelby.

WE reached Shelby with the gas guage now flashing to find no gas.

The first three stations had no gas.

Getting ready to call AAA or Hertz when the 4th gas station had gas.

On to the airport & a safe flight ....got home about1:30 pm California tie.

Had a great time....see you next year!!!

Glad your fumes held out until the finish line.
Wonderful meeting your better half. She was stunningly normal, though - after you hid her all these years, who expected that?

We knew she was pretty because of the photos......but after knowing Frankie? I damn sure didn't expect her to be "normal".

Bless her heart.

Made it home safe, arrived home @ 12:40am (tues)

Like Frankie I had the gas hustle, needed to take the rental car back full.
Stopped 3 times in Charlotte, as gas stations where limiting to $10.00 the last one was $20.00
but I only needed $40.00 to fill.

Thanks guys for a fun time, and a special thanks to my host's Al & Mel

BTW. Air Canada lost my luggage, I hope I get it back as it has all my Carverfest Tee Shirts and Hoodies in it.

Home safe and sound. Made the long, tedious trip over the mountain without incident.

No gas issues for me. Only a half a tank for the whole trip. :-"

Unless I have missed someone, it looks like everyone is home safe and sound. I guess it is time to start the countdown again, uh? It will be a long one.

Home after a play date last night. Only gas issues may have been the sausage and ham for breakfast

You will post a review......right?

btw, I got home safe and sound after having one of the guys at the cabins jump the Caddy. It seems you can't leave all the doors and trunk open all morning loading gear and not pay the piper. Imagine that ](*,) ](*,)

Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.
