FWIW, I think the 17" variant is far more rare than 19". You may want to just grab what you can find in 17" and run with it. 200W vs 400W is a question best left to people with mega speakers that suck lots of juice, and crazy people who just HAVE to have the biggest one. :-"

vigotone wrote:Thanks for the advice. Now a quick question about interconnects. I posted a new thread about this, but haven't heard from anyone. I have a set of Blue Jeans Cable BJC LC-1 Multi-Channel Audio Cables. How are these regarded as an interconnect between the Pre/Pro and amp? Bob's interconnects seem to be out of my price range, considering I would need three pairs (or two and a half if that's even possible). Are the BJC cables a worthy substitute for Bob's (which I assume are a favorite around these parts)?

Thanks!
Blue Jeans make a great mid-range IC.

Bob doesn't make cables.....James (Toy Maker) makes them.

Ok, cool. How are they regarded? Any idea how they compare to the Blue Jeans ICs?

I don't know that anyone has done a direct comparison. I do know that the carveraudio are an excellent value for the money & right up there with ICs costing a lot more.
