Sunfire 400 X 7 Question

Post by Don » Mon Jul 11, 2011 9:59 am

Question for other 400 X 7 Owners: (mine is 17 inch wide model, which should be same as 19 inch)

With my 400 X 7 in the auto mode, even without signal present, the outer case will always be slightly warm to touch, which I assume is normal. Last night, for the first time, put toggle on back in the down position, which is off. When felt outer case temperature this morning, still slightly warm to touch. Is this normal even with toggle in down (off) position? :-k

It's always warm.

Mine varies from @ 85 degrees when off to approximately 134 degrees (max) when I've pounded the hell out of it for a couple of hours....

When you drop trou and cop a squat on the amp. If it burns your boys? It's hot.
In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

The best way to enjoy digital music reproduction is to never listen to a good analogue reproduction.
