Mike,

I use them in 2 different systems, I use the UR II in my 5.1 setup I really like it for 5.1

I use my Vacuum Tube Control Centre in my 2 channel system, so I can not really compare the 2, I would like to move my Turntable and try it on the UR II, but the UR II does not have a MC input so I am screwed on trying that.

Honestly, I have veered away from my audiophile passions for awhile -- perhaps a tightening of funds does that?? :)

If I had anything to say about the Sunfire Ultimate Receiver, though, it would probably be that it's quality immediately begged for CD player upgrade. Wanting a value-oriented all-in-one approach for starters (audio and video), I have looked most closely at the Denon 3930ci, which has HDMI out for the television -- it is probably my next purchase on Audiogon, but not sure when that will be -- maybe next winter? Should be pretty cheap by then? $300 clams???

How are you guys with your audio-video wranglings? Gary, anyone gonna pry that Tube Control Center away from you?
