Finally got home from NC, and just finished unpacking late this morning. I have two amp kits, for two different paid-for buyers in the area. But on inspection, each kit lacks something. I expected there to be no input or output terminals, and in that I was not disappointed, but those will follow later, I'm told by Ed. The real problem is that neither 'kit' contains an amplifier board; not even an empty one. Therefore, besides the board, each kit lacks all the parts that go onto a board – some 23 capacitors, 60 resistors, five diodes, and seven tube sockets; that's per unit, so I lack twice that.

Anybody know where all those 'leftover' parts went? Ed has none of them. Bob says he hasn't even unpacked yet, but he'll look later.
They must be someplace...

I talked to Kevin, as I thought there were miscellaneous parts in cabin 5, Kev said everything including leftover food went to cabin 2!

Hope you find your boards soon!

When I was looking for 4 populated boards for myself and Al, I went to cabin 2 and was told non left Ed has them all.
I went to see Ed and he told me that there was not enough boards to go around for all the kits and he would be shipping kits
to people of site with NO boards.
I was lucky to find the last 4 boards at cabin 5 with Kevin.

Hope you figure it out soon Brian

For clarification. What I said was that kits world be shipped short the board components. We had enough PCB's.

That room appears to have a lot of sound reflective surfaces.
Do the highs sound bright to you?

Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.

Thanks. It's a medium sized room with loft ceilings and only thing in it is the gear and a table, and the animals...I'm a minimalist and dont like furniture. I wouldn't have the table if I didnt need it for breakfast with friends. I like it better now that I moved the speakers to the fireplace, to shoot the boom boom boom straight in the room rather than the shorter side of the room. lol. Sounds better throughout and upstairs.

Bitsy, cat shown, loves the music, as does max. The other 10 tend to hang in the loft and listen.

Update on Missing Parts. I am still waiting on more RCA Jacks and Binding posts. I am expecting them any day. As soon as I get them I will be sending out priority mail in a flat rate box. It will cost $6 per box in the US. Some of you have already sent me $5 to help cover this. If you have not, please consider doing so.

You can PayPal to eatkins1959@gmail.com.

I will also be sending the trim piece for the front of the chassis.

I will let you all know when I get the parts and mail them.

Thank you for your patience.

Thanks, Ed
