With great regret, I have to announce that I won't be attending CF '19. Some of my friends here have known for a while that I had a disc failure in my lower neck in early December. The disc fragments pinched a nerve going to my left arm and the pain was excruciating for nearly 1 month with chronic pain/numbness/weakness in my left arm & hand ever since.

I've seen 3 different spine surgeons with 3 different medical opinions (waiting several months for each "new patient" appointment ](*,) ). The most recent surgeon is saying that I need surgery within 2 months or the nerve damage may be permanent, if it's not already. If insurance approved it right away I'd probably be looking at surgery in mid-July (too close to CF to be fully healed) and I expect a fight with them since the Dr. who would be doing the surgery is out-of-network.

Have a great CarverFest, those who will be attending this year's.

Sorry to hear you have such severe back problems Russ. I hope the surgery goes well and happens soon.

Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.

Cabin 8 booked today. My total was up 12% from last year. I would be interested to know if others are getting this sort of increase. I was surprised.

Thanks, Ray. Unfortunately (for me) I'm finding that getting in to see Dr's about it is like pulling teeth, and obtaining coverage might be another battle. Meanwhile, the potential for permanent nerve damage continues. F'ing ridiculous, but I've got to be glad the pain/weakness is not worse than it already is.

I have gotten this fixed. They had calculated wrong. When it was all said and done my total was up about 20 bucks.

It would be great if someone would update the header for this thread. There might be people looking for space and are being mis-lead.

Called today to book. Left message for Victoria, she was unavailable at the time. Left my number to return call. Never heard back from her. Hopefully will hear back soon.

Guy's I have done the same thing! Call once every week for the passed three weeks! No one returns phone calls! Does Tim know we are having
trouble! I will call Monday morning to see if anyone picks up !

Has anyone tried contacting them via e-mail? It took a long time for me to get a quote from them, but they did respond via e-mail (eventually).

I took a look at their website, they still have the dates for CF '19 blocked out as unavailable to the general public.
