Got my AV Risers today

Post by OconeeOrange » Mon Feb 28, 2011 4:23 pm

My sub used to rattle my deck until I put a sheet of sorbothane under it, and that cured that.

I got in some sorbothane risers today. I got them for my turntable, but these things are quite substantial. I may use these for the sub in the bar and order more for the turntable.

This is a good product.

Damnit, in my suggestions for the TT on the other thread, I completely forgot to mention these. My bad. Rick's as good as they come, his quality is top notch and they do make one hell of a difference. Wait 'till you get a piece of tubed gear, Bill. Put these suckers underneath and you will hear for the first time what harmonics won't be like when you turn it up.

I have the exact ones shown and quite honestly, I need to order more.
In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

The best way to enjoy digital music reproduction is to never listen to a good analogue reproduction.

Thought I might get more feed back on these. Maybe the post slid away too quickly.

Anyone have comments on these?

I've had 6 or 8 sets of them; very well made products! Never tried the ones with Sorbothane, though....
