Thiel Audio right near I-75 in Lexington

For those traveling to CarverFest 08' via Lexington KY you may want to consider a factory tour of Thiel Audio. You can make reservations via their website

I was on a business trip to Lexington and stopped in to see if they had a demo room. In spite of me "just dropping by", Gary their customer service rep, set up a pair of CS7.2 speakers ($10K @) and spent some time running different tracks for me. Not that I have $20K to drop on a pair of speakers, it was still nice to listen. I can't afford a Ferrari, but I would drive one if given the opportunity.

Not that I have much experience comparing speakers. They sounded wonderful. Very warm full bass, crisp highs. Everything you heard was distinct and clean. That on top of the exquisite cabinetry and woodwork made it a worthwhile stop.
