wow the man himself will be there, now im really depressed that i cant make it. thank you Bob for the donation, even though i cant make it it makes me happy just knowing one of the forum members is going to win a simply stunning pair af amps, i hope you guys that attend will post lots of pictures of the event so those of us who cant make it can get a taste of what we missed so we will have no choice but to go next year. thanks again Bob, you are going to make one lucky fans dreams come true.

jjwm27, we have already gathered the gear that it will take to make live streaming of parts of the Carverfest available to members of the forum. The only issue will be if the cabins have got their end straight. I have talked with them about paying for a test to insure that everything works on their end but the cost [and technical issues] to test runs too high. We will have many folks attending that are very knowledgeable about how to get things to work, but if we do encounter an issue.........well, I'll put it to you this way. It's not like we can swoop down to the local Rat Shack to get what we need. Carverfest is out in the boontillies.

Keep your fingers crossed that all of this planning and gear has synergy.

If it does, then everybody who can not make it will be able to at least experience it via their own 'puter screen. Anything that can not be streamed live will most likely be You-tubed or something to where you can sample what all happened. Like I said, just keep your fingers crossed.

Weitrhino, you could always beg off and make it a boys weekend away and thank her with something nice in return ..... lets say a romantic weekend away at soem other date when you are both available. This is a event you just can't miss.

I hear ya, OBI. However, my beautiful wife is Chief Resident in the OB/GYN department at the hospital. They get their hooks pretty deep into the residents and command much more of her time than our family does. It won't last forever, but it's grueling right now. Lot's of (potentially unwilling) ducks have to be lined up first.

Now I read that all of the remaining bunks are gone so I may be totally assed out.

WOW!!! Ever since I saw these beauties on E-bay, I dreamed of one day being able to hear a set. Now that dream will come true. Many thanks Bob for your kind contribution. I'm really looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the directions the audio world will be heading in the near future. I dare say this year's Fest will be the best audio gathering in history. Just a little over a month away. Man, am I getting pumped.

The Bots are a good thing, they scan the forum for info, and help keep the forum coming up in the search engines... They are prebuilt into the forum by the software designers.

The other spammers... they are REAL easy to get rid on now... one click, and anyone can be gone, along with ALL their posts.

Just keep your eyes out, and send me any user ID that pops up and starts spamming.
