Looks like I definately missed out on one helluva great time. Would've really enjoyed meeting Bob and all the forum members who attended. And wow...congrats to weitrhino for winning those beautiful tube monoblocks! Real works of art!

Maybe next year... [-o<

The soundstage is nothing short of fabulous. These amps easily have that "take you away" factor. Closing my eyes in the sweet spot is akin to teleportation to front center stage. I have played them at very loud for long periods and have noticed a slight bit of listening fatigue, but a just under 'rocket blaster levels' the fatigue is not present. This may be more of a factor of how I was using them rather than a characteristic of the amps. On the more delicate side, Norah Jones never sounded so sweet. I am still awaiting bias setting information from Bob.

I had to up-end my whole living room when I got them home. In order to keep little hands away from burning tubes I placed them each on top of a 5 foot tall cabinet, which meant my speaks had to move back to the floor. So the room was turned 90 degrees to place the entertainment center on the long wall allowing the speaks to floor stand. This resulted in my HT being knocked out for a while as my rears had been mounted high in the corners and are now both on the left side. No complaints about the 2 channel setup now.
