Carolina Audio Kazzzba March 26

Post by weitrhino » Mon Jan 10, 2011 2:32 pm

Hi gang,

I'm feeling sufficiently set up to host a gathering at my place on Saturday, March 26 from 10AM till whenever. I have also posted on Audio Circle so I'm hoping to have a good mix of audio folks over to listen to my system as well as bring in demo gear to try out.

Loacation: Laurinburg NC.

PM me for directions.

cheers, Rodney

I don't care. Just bring some of that equipment you've been calling dibs on for the last few weeks.

OK, live 2 hours away.
Will need permission to camp in your back yard or the number for a Taxi to a local motel as I don't drink and drive.

Can I bring a friend. ?

Can we only play music I bring.

Count me in , maybe KingMan, let you know tomorrow if you reply.

Will there be food, or should I pack a lunch; should I pack one for you?

OO

No taxis. This is a one horse town.

If the weather agrees I may grill out, assuming I've bought a new grill by then. Otherwise, we'll eat something. Bring your favorite vinyl, we'll need some kind of plates.

Not sure where you got that one, Rabbit.

James, could you have characterized that any more negatively? "Didn't bother coming?" You have no idea. None.

I have some advice for anyone giving james shit on THIS Forum, which wouldn't be here if not for James.

That advice is:

LEAVE JAMES THE FUCK ALONE !!

The deal with Oconee was he kept saying he was coming & then didn't show up. Some of you apparently knew why...most of us didn't.

Water under the bridge. However the sentiment "you live in N.C. & didn't bother to come" rings true since we didn't know the situation.

The next time any of you show up at the fest & look around at what James & Tom & the other Toms & George & jerry & Brock
bring to the fest to make it happen, well it seems like it isn't too much to expect you to drag your ass there.

There is a lot of work done by these guys, so getting my ass on a plane doesn't seem to hard.

Hey FrankieD, I'm just giving James crap only because of what he did to my rating > notice my name > Shidiot? I admire James for all he does on this forum and do look up to him with great respect. Please don't take my post the wrong way, it was intended just as a little pay back, but all in humor.

Actually I was responding more to Weitrhino who came to my first fest & ended up with a set of Bob's custom tube amps.

Rodney, please don't take offense at my response but you have those amps (& I haven't ) & haven't been back.

And to anyone else, please understand...it is ALL in the spirit of fun & A joke.

You know what they say if you can't take a joke...don't you?

I hope that you also include, Tom & Tom (cabin 2) in that statement.
As I know they both work there butt's off to help the CF magic happen.
