Had a great time at Bill's place. He has a great double-Squeezebox system set up to pipe digital music througout the house...nice! And he has one of the nicest H/T setups I've ever seen in a TINY room...what are the dimensions of that room, Bill? 11' x 11'?

Again, Bill, you are missing out on soundstage & especially the benefit of Sonic Holography with the placement of your AL-IIIs. I realize there's not much else you can do with that particular room, but you really need to hear the S/H with them properly dialed in....it's amazing (hence the name O:) )!

Thanks again Bill (& Nancy) for your hospitality~if you're ever in Maryland, give me a shout!

Thanks, Gary. Yeah, I know that in that 10x12 room, I can't do much, especially when the credenza takes 6½ feet of the 10 available up front. I think the velvet curtain around the back and to the sides will help. I think what really messes up the holography are the side reflections more so than the back. When I had the little M&Ks out, which sat on the credenza, I got much more holographic action - but the speakers themselves are not very musical (great for action films). They have no rear or side projection.

We enjoyed your visit very much. If I ever go back to Virginia to visit my old stomping grounds in Richmond, I'll make sure to stop in.
It should sound like it isn't there!
