Hey, TFM-75....was that yesterday's or today's. (for documentation purposes)
TXS. [edit] I thought that it was from yesterday, and I now see that (four inches above) that it is from yesterday. I can't mutitask that many things at once.

On the phone with Paypal now to find out if one of the links provided in this thread is a phishing post or not.

I can't type and talk at the same time, so DO NOT click on the link that tells you about the paypal tool.

Gotta go for now

This is the link that I was trying to verify as legit. It is. I posted it back on page three (I think) and started to get paranoid [wonder why] as to whether it was a phishing site. Wouldn't want to be the cat who screwed others. Not my cup of wax. Except when it comes to E-Disaster and the recent coverups!

TFM-75, I don't know what you deleted, but that wasn't what I was referring to. It's damn hard to talk, type and locate links to certain threads at the same time.

I'm gonna go have a beer now. Anybody got one of those good, old fashioned qualudes? ](*,)

<SARCASM>

Since the hacker is apparently some sort of racist, shouldn't that mobilize the politically correct, "you offended me" crowd to compel FBI action? I mean, this is more than massive fraud now, it's about hurt feelings.

If the hacker is identifying Americans as the target of his attacks then a sort of quasi-race card can be played. If it were an American yammering about Romanians, you can bet it would have been played mighty fast and mighty quick.

The latest updates that I could find.

It's finally starting to hit mainsream. Notice the date. They haven't even reported yet on the 15 people's PRIVATE information yet.

Quote from stockholder "I, as a stockholder and a user, am VERY
CONCERNED. More concerned as I see all the censor shit???..... Awww Hell No They Didin't !!!! .... going on by EBAY of it's own members. If I was writing this on one of eBays forums it
would be gone in an instant and I would probably be given the same 7
day suspension that other faithful members were given over the past
few days."

Seems other investors are telling him to shut it, if he was smart. ](*,)

This is not new news, but since they have done a slam dunk job of covering up so far, I'd like to see them cover this up! Wouldn't this case be available for public view?

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!

I'm starting to have some fun now, so I posted this on Google finance's blog for investors to see. I have been approved as an account holder to post, but for some reason I have to be approved again [by e-bay] in order for the post to hit. So that I don't lose documentation, I will post what I posted on this link here (in case it doesn't get posted.)
http://finance.google.com/group/google. ... 467d32baf6

We'll see............ \:D/

I doubt any of this would have happened if E-Disaster had just given the public a straight up answer instead of LIES and a canned response of freakin' tutorials. Phishing is obviously not the problem here!

Here's what I posted.

Dear investors, I know that this will be my first and only post on
this. I feel that as an investor that you would want to know what is
going on with your investment. I am an e-bay user, but after the last
item that I bought gets here, I will be closing my e-bay account as
well as my Paypal account.

It might be of interest for you to see as to why. E-bay is covering up
a major security breach. This is NOT tolerable as a client of e-bay's
services. The public is not a fool. Here you can see why I [and many,
many others] will be leaving e-bay, along with your powersellers......
http://www.carveraudio.com/phpBB2/viewt ... 14&start=0

Now I would like to tell you that this is a very long thread that
contains many links to facts regarding your investments with e-bay.
Every page on this thread has got important information that ALL
investors should know about. E-bay might listen to you, but trust
me....they are NOT listening to the people that matter the most. This
thread has been forwarded to the FBI at two different offices, CNN,
the Washington Post, The Charlotte Observer, MSNBC, FOX News, Dept. of
Homeland Security, The Wall Street Journal, (specifically Damian
Paletta), and The Federal Trade Commission.

The fact that 15 people have had SS#'s, mothers maiden names, Credit
card information, passwords.....well here's the link to where this
information was obtained...... http://firemeg.blogspot.com/ is good
enough reason to know that there IS a really big security breach with
e-bay, and as a once happy user....I gotta wash my hands of it now.

It is just now starting to hit the mainsteam news. I mean you folks
decide what you want. You know what you are doing. The public is not
as dumb as one might think. How do you think the stock will fare when
the news of the 15 people's information was hanging out there for the
world to see for a duration of 40 minutes hits? How are they gonna
cover that up? Under California law........you guys figure it out. How
are they going to cover that up?

The latest news reported on FOX news was... http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,257063,00.html
and notice the date. The MAJOR security breach of the 15 people has
not even hit the news yet.

I wish you all luck in making a wise investment choice. That is all.
