Got the kit today Gary. I'm not using those plexiglass flanges he makes up. I'll just re drill and tap new holes.

Allot less work and fuss just to drill new holes and run some self tapping screws in Gary. IMHO O:)

I thought those had nuts on the backside of the face....I think the hole for the speaker is a different size, too. Like you said, you know your ass from a.hole in the ground~ :D

Yes there are little nuts on the back side Gary, but there is still enough room to drill new holes without breaking through the edge and plenty of overlap with the new driver for a secure mount. =;

Giving them a listen as I cook supper. Not bad for what they are. Should make great little computer speakers with the TFM-15cb and a Sub. :D

I like the allen head sceews...nice touch!

If you can remove the bass going to them (under 100 hz or more via crossover) & add a sub, you can spank these pretty hard without hurting them~

Update:

I have 7 pair of Realistic Minimus 77 speakers I use for surround/center duty (ganged pairs) in various stages of disrepair; I'm putting new woofers & upgraded crossovers in in half of them:
