Got the TFM-55 hooked up...works great and what a diff from the TFM-25. But I do like the 25s meter light dimmer, which the 55 lacks. Anyone have any idea how the light in the 55 might be dimmed a little.?

Both of my 55's the regular and the x have the range and/or dimmer/light button on the front? If you've got a 55, it has the same. Just push the light button on the faceplate of the X or the dimmer button on the regular.
In reality, it only matters what it sounds like to YOU!!!

"dimmed a little.?" from my post...
Don't want to shut off...but dim. On the 55 they are really bright. Maybe lower watt bulbs.?? Don't know the answer...

On my 55 it dims it some but not as much as the 25 allows you. I think the 25 will allow you to turn almost all the way off.
Some cool Carver stuff!

I think Thuffman is correct...my friend has a 25 and as I remembeer it had a potentiometer brightness adjustment. I have both my 55's on the lower setting...how low do you want????

If they are new bulbs they can be a bit bright. Over time they will fade. Though if you are good with electronics you could put a on the lights.
