one of these resistors? This one got damaged during shipment when the transformer bolts came loose....

It would help if we knew what resistor it was, but I'm guessing it's R97, which is a 0.1Ω 5W resistor. You can order them online from Mouser.

Those of course are excellent and classic.
If they were mine, I would just send them on to Rita or whatever the name is now.

You would get back amps to carry you for many years.

I am at a loss to explain how they could have been damaged like that, given the packing job and all. I will file a claim with the shipper if you give me the word, or full refund once they are returned to me. I am also willing to grab them on the way up to see Bob in a few weeks and take them with me to Snohomish. Let me know what you decide to do.

I n the meantime, I will speak to the good folks up at Bob's on Monday and see what I can learn.

Ya... the amps were packed great! It just appears that vibration caused two of the transformer bolts/nuts to come loose, the thing I don't understand is that the bolts were a bit longer than needed and yet somehow still managed to ultimately back off?

It is what it is... so all I want to do is fix it! Just not sure how to go about it? I just need some direction.... there is no rush to get this resolved and I would just like to be confident that the repair is what Bob would have done... assuming that the resistor cant be replaced in kind.
