TL-3300 CD player
TL-3300 CD player
Does anyone know the size of the 3 screws that are used to secure the CD player laser assembly during transport? Are they really necessary? Thank you. Peter

Re: TL-3300 CD player
I'm hoping someone might have one and can estimate the dimension. Will it be safe to ship it without those screws? Thank you.
Re: TL-3300 CD player
I have no idea what size the screws are but you probably should have them in place or they wouldn't be there.
I have an idea for you though...take the unit to a good harware store and they should be able to find a screw that will fit.
The only purpose of the screw is to hold the arm steady during transport so any screw that fits should work.
Sorry no one knew but I hope my advice helped.

I did go to hardware store 2x. I guess it is metric since unit is made in Japan. I bought 2 mm (dia) but was too small and 3 mm wass too big. Now I have to go 1 more time and hopefully 2.5 mm is the right one.
