Possible replacement woofers for Carver Amazings

Has anyone tried the Dynavox 12" dipole woofers as a replacement for the original Tonegen woofers? They have a driver, the WP-1220, that has very similar specs to the originals. They also have a driver, the SW-1220FL, that looks very similar to those used in a big-buck Carver knock-off (you know the one).
