As has been said, when working right you won't find a better amp. Really shines on low impedance loads.

I had mine serviced Peter Ledermann of Sound Smith in Peekskill, New York.

While mechanically inclined, electronically? not so much. I wouldn't even know how to crack the shell on this puppy. It's in pristine condition cosmetically and wouldn't want to change that. Robert, why don't you stop by with your soldering iron and I give you the $600 and I save on the creating and shipping.
Seriously guys, thanks for all the advise. I can build a low-tech wooden box and send it off to High-Tech if that's what it takes. Not ruling out Pittsburgh yet.

OK , got some drop cords together and same results from different circuits in the house. As I recall this started right after Verizon Fios was installed in the house. Now looking to test the grounding on that stuff.
