AV806x individual fuse specs
AV806x individual fuse specs
Have an AV806x amplifier where the individual amp fuses have blown. The railboard says replace with 8ampere 125 v fuses, but the individual fuses say 250v on the metal rim. Which is the right spec?

Re: AV806x individual fuse specs
I'd go with what's in there. 250v fuses are the most common anyway.
It should sound like it isn't there!

Re: AV806x individual fuse specs
they are dual volt rated, i have a bunch of the modules from the 806x and did a custom set up using 6 modules with three transformers(one for each pair) for more power. i can get the fuse value if you need it.....

Re: AV806x individual fuse specs
Hi Dan - Thanks for your useful response. I would really appreciate your help with the specs of the fuses. Are these what are called slow or fast acting fuses? And how did you do the custom setup you referred to? Jonathan

Re: AV806x individual fuse specs
the one in mine is 250v
Re: AV806x individual fuse specs
Thanks to all. I bought new fuses with the 250v specs, but they keep blowing. What could the problem be?
