OBI I tried calling the number listed and got an answering machine. I left a message, so will have to wait for a call back.

Yeah, me too. I finally got a reply from Harry Abbott, however, who said the wrong number was published for the business.

The correct number is: (425) 530-9557

I goofed up on the phone number. The correct contact number is 425 530 9557

The above number is the shop, the number (425 783 0270) we posted was the wrong one.

Yep I just called them and they are open for buisiness now. They will only be accepting Money Orders or Check right now. They are not set up for debit cards or pay pal!!

I just called and the answer on repairing Brand X preamps is yes as long as it's tube. Amps and preamps, good deal.

Ye freakin ha...Thank you God I always knew you had Carver gear up there in the big listening room in the sky.
I bet something broke and you needed a repair and bingo Bob and Rita are heatin up the soldering irons. I am so glad I
only live about 30 minutes from the shop, so right after the holidays I will trek North with my amp and pre amp for
a tune up and whatever else you guys wanna do to them. =D>

I will be interested to learn what is typically included in the restoration work - parts, labor - as people start to get their units worked on. Hmm, I have a Sansui tube receiver that could certainly benefit from a makeover and 170 seems like a bargain to get work done on tube gear.

I wonder if this includes the Phase Linear Andromeda speaker system? Would be nice to have a consult on mine as needed. =D> =D> =D>

Talked to Harry at about 10:30AM Him & Bob were stuck in the snow and trying to get chains put on the car.
