TFM-15cb Meters Repair or Replacement

I need to replace my meters or have them repaired on one of my amps. Needles try to move but stick. I have tried blowing the dust out with caned air. But does not help. Any suggestions on sources. Tx Tom

not to sound insulting(ive had the same problem),...did you open up the amplifier and blow out the meters from the inside? meters arnt easy to come by.

One other possibility for you to look at.. One of the meters in my wifes TFM15 developed the same issue and after close inspection it wasn't the meter at all. The meter was "sticking" due to the back part of the meter had over time come loose and was out of place just enough to interfere with the proper movement of the needle.....

If your meter is not physically touching anything, you can lubricate meter movements with 1/2 drop of silicon spray stuff to free it up. While you in there feel the IC just below level control knobs see if it gets to hot to touch and check two 2.2k ohm 2W registors and see if they are discolored. These are the main culprits of electrical meter malfunctions. Good luck
