Sorry you're hurting Gary. Don't go back to work too soon and especially don't catch anything that can make you cough - been there.

Be safe Gary- not the time of year to be on a bike bro! People see motorcycles even LESS when the weather is not nice and balmy (maybe because they see less of them?) Sucks to be in pain for the next week or 2, but it would suck even more if you did not make it to feel the pain -Heal quick Gary! Try not to laugh or cough- :D

No. I was in a line of traffic that took off to go through a light & everyone suddenly hit the brakes. I did, too, but hit something slick & the front tire FLEW out from under me. Went straight down & hit my left shoulder HARD.

Glad no permanent injury. Don't mean to lecture but..... You are not a cat and don't have 9 lives. As a few of us mentioned some time back sell that thing before a more disabling injury or worse.

Yep! Not much you can do about ribs, though. I was doing @ 30 mph or so and landed on my left shoulder/side with my arm tucked under me--armed pretty much FUBAR'd my ribs. Whacked my head pretty good, too, but the helmet absorbed all the impact--it's dead now. No abrasions~
