the first step towards solving a problem is recognizing it as being such.

sadly i cant tell you how much ive spent on gear in the last year or two(ive done over $800 the last 2/3 weeks tho \:D/ ). kinda like asking how many beers one has drank in the same time period... just know its NOT ENOUGH

Whew! I only spent $2,995.00 on new Carver gear and speakers this year. Surely, that does not constitute a problem! I have no problems. :-k

oops....I just realized that didn't include the $4200 I spent on my Klipsch surround speaker system....

However, (!) I sold part of said acquired gear for a total of $1700, which puts my total expediture (Carver + other) at only @ $8,300.00!!!

If you have ever bought a piece of Carver gear just so you can immediately "loan" it to you friend so your wife won't find out you kept it - you might have OCCD.

From experience, if you ask the seller to ship your newly purchased gear to the office so you can sneak it into the stack when the wife isn't hope, you may have OCCD. I NEED HELP!!!!

If you had to rewire your house so you can play your stereo, you might have OCCD.

Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.

If I don't recall how much I have spent on Carver gear, do I have OCCD?
In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

The best way to enjoy digital music reproduction is to never listen to a good analogue reproduction.
