Theme default change, and Avitar resizing

Post by Toy Maker » Tue Sep 08, 2009 8:15 am

I am changing the "Default" theme for the forum to DVGFX) ((There is a reason for it... you'll see why later))
I would advise using it for a while and try to get used to it.

For just this week, I am making this theme the ONLY one available (DVGFX). At the end of the week I will re-set the forum so you are able to change the theme to whatever you like. At the end of the week you will still able to go into your UCP and change the theme back to the previous theme "prosilver2" if you like.

But I would really advise using this one, for a little while, and try to get used to it .

I am also going to reset the Avitar size MAX to 200 x 200. Some are getting a little out of hand size wise.
If your avitar is larger than 200 x 200, please go into your UCP and resize it, very easy, just do the math, and rescale the image. The forum will automaticly resize it if you type in the correct numbers

Also... if the background looks "black" your screen settings are off. It is a dark gray, but if it looks BLACK to you, you may want to try adjusting your screen, brightness and or contrast a little.
With my laptop, if I tilt the screen I get different shades of gray, same with my LCDs at the office. Just a little FYI

Well, the borders are black, and the insets are very dark grey. Buttons are shaded grey to black. But the grey is very dark.

I'm liking this one a little better... This one I can customize the colors myself, and make 20 different versions of the same theme based on what colors everyone would like to see...

The last change messed up my logging in ( keep giving me errors, I found out by logging out and having no problems and i had the old theme there with me logged off) untill I had to go to Control panel and chose a theme.

He changed it back to the original Ed. You can go into the user control panel and change it to whatever one you would like to use. Cool eh?

Very cool... I like the original, but also that folks have a choice to use other themes.

When I'm not logged in, there is a gallery link. When I log in, it is gone. Am I missing something?
