Now THAT one works for me as a light background color theme though I still prefer a dark background if I can chose my own.

leave it the way it is ....looks absolutly fine to me

any of the really dark or black backgrounds are way to hard to read (I agree with the news paper story)

...if we had the very dark or black background, as much as i love the forum,.......wouldn't care to log in

The DNS (Domain Name Server) was messed up, and was still pointing to the old server... had to call NetworkSolutions today to fix it.
It tells (your computers) where to go to find a website (my server)
It should be fine now.

BUT... I will be moving the site/forum again pretty soon... so be forwarned.

Right now all this is running on a GoDaddy server, while my buddy is building then new one.
Today, I got the license for the software, and he should have the new local server up and running in a few days.
Then I will be making the move yet again.

It should go a little smoother this time, now that I have some clue of what I am doing.
It's a REAL BITCH moving a forum from 1 server to another. Takes about 3-4 hours if you don't have any problems..
If you do, well double it for every problem.

James, FYI.....It's 2:25 my time as I post this and the regular link no workie. I had to use the link you provided in the other thread to get in...
In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

The best way to enjoy digital music reproduction is to never listen to a good analogue reproduction.

Network Solutions, aside from being a thorn in the side of "old school" Internet cognescenti, is actually owned by SAIC, a HUGE federal contractor (with over 20,000 employees). SAIC's current board of directors includes former National Security Agency chief Bobby Inman, former Defense Secretary Melvin Laird, and the former head of research and development for the Pentagon, Donald Hicks. Ex-CIA Director Robert Gates, Secretary of Defense William Perry, and CIA Director John Deutch have been past members. Eighty-three percent of the company's $2 billion annual revenue comes from government contracts, including defense, intelligence, and law enforcement contracts. It is designing new information systems for the Pentagon, helping to automate the FBI's computerized fingerprint identification system, and last year won a $200 million contract to provide "information support'' to the Internal Revenue Service. SAIC also helped develop the ESCHELON system for NSA...

Any time a DNS setting gets "messed up" on an otherwise fully functioning and stable website, it probably is not a mistake...
