Here is the speaker project that I just finished

Post by c2rower » Fri Sep 04, 2009 8:40 am

I'm still looking a vintage Carver amp; something like a TM-35 or 55.

My company is blocking that site for some reason. Will have to look when I get home.

I know someone who has a few TFM's for sale. He is a member on this board. Beemers417. Check out his audio shop at http://www.vintagehifishop.com

I know he has:

2 TFM 35's
1 TFM 42
1 TFM 55 (you might not be able to get this one till after Carverfest)
2 M500
1 M 1.5

Plus a whole wall of Carver equipment. Not everything is up on his web site yet. Send him an email or give him a call.
Some cool Carver stuff!

Sweet. I assume these not from a "kit"? I'm no fan of "complex" x-overs, but I like how you "store" yours! Welcome aboard!

Actually I have the bug to do a biamped system. I found a neat site with some interesting reading.

I just got back from a place where the guy had a Craigslist add for a bunch of stuff, including Carver and some pro sound stuff. It was a TFM-35, but in rough shape. I passed on it.

Yea you have to watch what you get yourself into. It is a real shame the way audio equipment is treated.
