Hi guys!! Another newbie to the forum and I need advice.

I would say my limit would be no more than a couple grand.

I guess I would need some advice as to whether run 2 amps or just one. I was reading on here about veritcal bi-amping or bi-wiring.

I guess I just want to get the best sound possible out of my speakers and honestly I'm just not sure how to do that

For a couple of grand, you can get some Silver 7's or 9's if you catch them for sale. That should satisfy your quest for power.

BAT VK-500 with BAT PAK (a man's amp)
Sunfire 600x2 (sounds better than the 7t's or 9t's)
Krell KSA 200 S (pure class A bliss)
Belles 350A (rock solid)

Musical Fidelity A5.5 (SS integrated)
Musical Fidelity Nu-Vista M3 (tube/SS integrated,, very nice)

I'm thinking about saving some money and then when tax time comes just splurging on a real nice amp. I know some people use two amps or more in their set-up but I could achieve alot with this amp or something similar.....yes?
