WELCOME, wetcoast!

I'm not aware of any CARVER 7 channel amps, but Sunfire has made a few of them~

Welcome to the forum.

I also have never seen a 7 channel Carver amp. Carver made three 5 channel amps and a 6 channel.

If you like the look of Carver amps you can always put 2 or 3 in your rack for you HT. That is what I did. I have a TFM 25 for my mains, and two TFM 15's for my center and rears.

If you don't want to have that many amps the Sunfire is the way to go. Loads of power and it runs cool all day long.
Some cool Carver stuff!

Welcome to the Forum wetcoast. =D> Exciting times are in your future my friend. :)

As a huge Polk Audio and Carver fan myself, I suggest that you put your Amp section together using multiple Carver amplifiers like I have, or do as others have suggested and get a Sunfire. You really can't go wrong either way, wetcoast.

You may also elect to visit our fellow Carver Forum members(beemers417) website : www.vintagehifipgh.com , he should have what you're looking for.

Yeah, they not the same, but do have the same "daddy"...

Welcome, Wetcoast, and happy hunting for that satisfying "value" system! If ePray, make sure that the seller packs well, as "shipping damage" stories are rampant here! And if you get a semi "dud" some of us here (or "elsewhere" :) ) might be able to help you mend it (and if not, we can direct you to a couple of great and (relatively!) inexpensive "refurb" shops that will turn that ePray "mistake" into pure sonic gold! -Ed

Yet another guy trying to make a video related amp into a 2-channel system --!?

In my opinion, that is the fun way to go. Carver is made for that. The video related amps can be run 2-channel and impress anyone as in all but the 405, the channels are all the same.
Some guys here will laugh at you for having POLK speakers.
I certainly intend to upgrade mine as soon as I hit the lotto. Till then, I have 5 Polk speakers entertaining me here on the deck. You have LSi - those are 4 ohm and suck power. I run two channels to each of my LSi7's from my 705. I use a Creative amp to power my Atriumn 65's and use the 5th channel of the Carver to power a VM30 mounted just above my head.
All of it is close and focused on my Adirondack chair which has a 1200 watt Polk sub underneath.
Multiple speakers, Carver amps, Polk speakers, and cold beer make this the best sounding chair on the lake.
