Hello to all - old Carver fan, new to the forum

Hello from South Jersey. I started with a pair of new Silvers in the black laquer powered with a M 1.5t. It didn't take long to move up to a new pair of Platinums in Oak finish, and a pair of bridged M 4.0t amps. I've stayed with them all these years, had the woofer surrounds replaced by Orange County Speaker, replaced the 60" ribbons twice... the first time was still under warranty. I have the Loudspeaker Control System box that is used to dial in the woofer 'Q', I don't use holography function. I run the bridged M 4.0t amps on their own dedicated AC circuit.
Main system: Carver Platinums with bridged M 4.0t amps
Other systems: vintage '54 Klipschorns with Heath W6 amps, Klipsch pro La Scalas with Marantz 2325, Polk Monitor 10s with Marantz 2230

Welcome! Orange County Speakers? Must be close to Orange County Choppers :lol: I see you have the best of the best (Love it) Platinums & Speaker control system with power. Enjoy the FUN here...

Thanks guys. Also Dave, here's a virtual beer on me for the advice on how to tighten up my ribbons... got 'em cranking right now and all is well. :D
