Haha. You did see the note that I am a semi-resent convert and new to this forum right? Give me some time to take a loan out on my house and buy Carver tube gear. Sorry to mention other brands. lol.

Please don't take that the wrong way with your last sentence. In the contrary, we love "all gear" well, maybe not Boss
Other brands are more than welcome, that's how we learn about new things! Thank you. Glad you found us, and welcome again to the forum.oh P.S. If bsturgeon89 responds to your thread he may fool you into thinking he knows what he's talking about, don't believe it! He really doesn't know Shit and has more meaningless post here than anyone!!

gdb wrote:Welcome!! you "pittsburgers" seem to be coming out of the woodwork lately! You ever go to that hotdog place that deep frys the hot dogs? I'd like to try one of those if I'm ever back in Pittsburgh someday!
It does seem that we have a good number of audioheads in Pittsburgh. Tom, AKA beemers417 or OCCD on his forum, at VintageHIFI has started getting people in Pittsburgh fired up about good audio. I am really amazed how many are willing to stop in his store every other Saturday night and listen to good music and to bring their own amps or speakers down for others to listen too also.
BTW we do consume a few beers so it makes it a pretty fun night. I just can't wait till it warms up so we can smoke cigars. Stupid indoor anti smoking laws.

Hello and welcome to the forum from a sunny North Carolina. See you around campus.
