The 45 is no slouch, and I'm not saying it is.... but it would shut down driving a 2 ohm load for any period of time. The 300x2 will put STUPID power into that load (1200 watts).

I'll be driving 5 ohms and from what I've read on here it will be the best bang for the buck. Of course if you want to sell me your 300X2 for $300 or so, I'd be happy to help you out.
