Nice story wags400. Your Brother who came back from Vietnam with all the goodies brought back some memories for me. Can't remember all the stuff I got, but I did have a Sansui, and I surely remember that Teac reel to reel. That was a state of the art machine back then. Welcome to the forum

Yea, back in the day we could buy stuff at the PX cheap and have it shipped home for free. My goal was to order a hell of a system and have it shopped from the PX to SC just before I left. Near the end I changed my mind and decided to use the money to get on the next plane back to a girl I would be leaving behind.
You could do the same with a car. Order there and pick it up at your dealer when you got home.
