Welcome to the forum. I know it can be bridged but I never owned one so I can not help you. I am sure someone else will have the answer for you shortly.
Some cool Carver stuff!

I recently purchased a VERY lightly used carver 806x 6 channel amp and want to bridge my front 3 channels in my Home theater system. The gent that I bought this beauty from mentioned it would be able to be bridged...BUT...I can't find any manual or help online to show me how to do this! I would appreciate ANY help...I really don't want to fry my speakers...or the amp in the process!....thx again!

Hey Rob welcome to the forum. Running a bridged 806X for my center and surrounds. PM me wtih your e-mail address and I will scan the pages on bridging and send them to you. Enjoy the amp. I was very pleased with how well it sounded.
Puts out about 360 watts a channel in the bridged mode running 3 channels. FYI, be forewarned, the 806X manual states only use 8 ohm speakers.Re: Carver 806x bridging question
