New Carver Owner (well soon)

Hey guys!
I'm new to the Carver site however have been a member over at the Polk forum for about 9 months or so (I think). Soon I will be an owner of some Carver Amazing Silvers. Very excited as I first heard the AL-III plus and ever since I heard that speaker I've been wanting to find a pair badly. Will be powering these with an Adcom 5802 until next year when I do a very large upgrade to probably the Parasound JC-1's.
PS I'm from WI so if anyone on this forum is form the area as well let me know, always good to meet up with people!

Re: New Carver Owner (well soon)

Welcomne to the Forum.

I have a set of Amazing Silvers too. You will love them.

Take some time setting them up as they are very room sensitive.

When you do get them properly set up you will be...well... amazed !

They love power & I would urge you to consider a Carver/Sunfire amp when you upgrade.

Of course we are kind of prejudiced here.

Let us know what happens.

Frank.

Welcome to the forum. I think you will find that you will prefer the Silvers [stock] over the ALIII's [stock]. Nice purchase.
In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.
